They told us of the good and bad, the history of the world
And what we might expect in the future.
But what they never told us about was PEACE.
What is PEACE? PEACE is a five lettered word that may have no meaning
To an army general, but it does have meaning to us, the people.
PEACE is playing in your backyard, taking a walk or being carefree.
PEACE is spending the day alone, enjoying nature and loving all.
But most of all there is a special place to find PEACE,
It is within you.

Nice beginning piece. The first "official" poem I wrote was one I penned for my cat when I was little, when he got lost one time. I, too, have been hooked since that day..
