Shereen gazed at her abode,
the baron desert over which they rode;
sand dunes mimicking vale and hill,
shadowy desert silent and still.
Beneath a sky of infinite expanse,
lay a desert scene of poetic romance.
Above the heavens shone vivid and bright,
with stars unseen near cities at night.
Peaceful like deepest dreams,
free from mankind's crafted schemes,
the desert swept and was blown so slow,
on its endless ebbing eternal flow.
A book of nature inspired poems and essays, written from the heart and soul of a life-long nature, animal, and wilderness lover, and dedicated to today’s children - Earth's only hope for a better tomorrow.
