Technology can be a wonderful thing. Yet there are times that too much of it, especially inaccurate info, with too little customer service by living, breathing service reps can create some seriously unfair situations. So now I rant and rave and I pray. LAND OF THE FREE? Not really I'm afraid. We're no longer good people or good citizens whose word was once honored and trusted. To the powerfully greedy and selfish that dwell amongst us, we are nothing more than a profit source to be controlled and used as they see fit. My friends, do your best to protect your personal information. IDENTITY THEFT has haunted us for more than ten years now and the government and credit bureaus could care less. We're trying to buy a home, our credit is excellent and we have the down payment. But because computers also store inaccurate info, we've been denied thanks to a thief who thinks I'm a good target.
I couldn't sleep at all last night
The day had been terribly hard
Near midnight I got out of bed
To have a heart to heart with God
"Good evening Dear Lord. How are you?
I think I need Your help again
It's a vicious world we live in
Controlled by greedy, selfish men
"Identity theft once again
Causing us so much misery
The second time in ten short years
Who the heck is attacking me?
"Try and try and try as they may
They haven't found the criminal
They've covered their tracks really well
Leaving us with a pile of bull
"Lord, I will do my very best
To get this whole mess straightened out
But I need Your help to be patient
For I'd really like to scream and shout
"The bureaus are no help at all
They're more trouble than they are worth
Can't even talk to a person
Numbers say that my name is dirt
"Dad said that, 'nice guys finish last'
That's proving to be all too true
But Lord, I know only Your way
So I take this problem to You
"Not only for myself, Dear Lord
I need take care of my family
I need no more than what You gave
So, what You decide - then that shall be
"Thank You my Lord for hearing me out
You give me more than I deserve
And I am forever thankful
In Your flock I'm honored to serve"

I am sorry my friend this has happened to you. We just cannot put to much information out there. Facebook was the real culprit for me. Fortunately I am poor so they could not screw me to badly. Just a virus but that was bad enough. I like the way you handled this though. GOD is always the answer.

I feel for you, buying a home is stressful enough without the rest, and those automated phone systems are enough to drive the calmest person mad. Nice poem came out of it though one I am sure many can relate to. I do hope its all sorted soon and pray you have a better day today. God bless. Baz
