Here's another variation from my book, MYSTERIOUS TRAILS OF AMERICAN FOLKLORE !
Thanks for reading my work and I hope you enjoy. God bless.

A HAUNTING STATE OF AFFAIRS

Delaware is a haunted state,
Cities and towns are plagued by ghosts;
Pay a visit to any one,
Talk with locals who like to boast.

In the small city of Dover,
Several ghosts haunt a mansion;
The place is called the Woodburn House,
Many have seen apparitions.

At the Amstel House Museum,
Windows open up on their own;
Objects have floated through the air,
Tortured souls have been heard to groan.

At the Newark fire station,
Two ghosts are said to haunt that space;
Most claim that one is not friendly,
While the other protects the place.

Firemen have heard their voices,
While at the station overnight;
Some think the two are enemies,
That have caused so many a fright.

Another mansion that’s haunted,
In Wilmington is the Bellevue;
Its poltergeists are amusing,
They have been seen by quite a few.

There’s a she-ghost in New Castle,
That haunts the Battery Park home;
A violent gal is this one,
Who’d love to have you for her own.

Don't think I'll stay overnight at those places. I think a house that we used to live in was haunted, footsteps were often heard and my waste paper bin and my brothers alarm clock flew accross our bedrooms. Had to sleep with light on for quite awhile. God bless. Baz

Paul, it sounds like a lot of moaning and groaning to me, but I'm interested in hearing more about the "affairs."

This must be some book worth reading. Good luck with it.
