Rejected by E-Harmony

The bar scene is a meat market Don’t believe I belong in a display case! On my computer screen, an ad says “Take a chance!” But I got rejected by E-Harmony! “People rejected by E-Harmony welcome here!” A profile written, a dare to men Who want a woman not a model thin “Here I am, take a chance!” He joined up and paid the fee Just to send his phone number to me His blue eyes looked at me from the screen Saying, I’m taking a chance! A phone call and a long chat Another call later on that night And another and another and another He says he’s glad he took a chance. I talk and listen and make a decision too His voice sounds calm and loving in my ear A tingling trills through my heart and body Because I, too, have decided to take a chance.

Just be careful: lots of nutz out there. I've met many wonderful people online, thanks to AuthorsDen and other sites, but am not willing to be more than friends. You go girl, Ann you deserve all the happiness that is out there to get. We do put our hearts and sometimes our lifes happinness on the line in search of love. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't but we will never know unless we try. If he is a smart man and you like him...he will know how great you are.

Ann, I enjoyed this very optomistic poem. If it is based on truth, then I wish you the best with this. It's usually better to take that chance when it is offered than to wish you had when it is too late.
