sometimes we meet special people for whom we feel "close" but cannot zero in on what the relationship really is.
Being "taken" means having a commitment
to someone and it is what young people
consider as engagement.

It's funny that I should find
That you are always on my mind.
Our bond at best is undefined;
I'm taken, but you are so kind.
Sometimes I think life's comic
To call our bond platonic,
A one plus one arithmetic,
But somehow, something makes us click.
And like a shoe without a sole,
Inside my heart you are a mole.
I press "delete" but you rewind,
I'm taken...but you are so kind.
