I used to think that banks where the places where there are lots of money, and when it isn't so- what do we call these then? (Bankless, Nonbanks, Justbanks?)

When the banks have no money,
That is not funny.
They collapse and mess the economy,
Our business gets hit so badly,
And the credit cards get blocked,
While the sad consumer gets shocked-
The insurance we bought wasn't there
And the jobs went away elsewhere.
May we please take a look
At those neat corporate books
Just to know where it all began?
Maybe we'll trace the vague money trails
And find WHERE HAVE ALL THE MONEY GONE?
Good write, corporate CEO are tremendously over paid in many businesses, banks included. We all end up paying for bad investments and practices on their part.
It's gone into the pockets of those multi-million dollar salary CEOs of those failing companies that we are now bailing out - and I doubt it's comin out any time soon.
Nope I don't have it either, your guess is as good as mine. Truth is they borrow our money so others can get loans, mortages etc. so maybe we should be getting paid for loaning them our money. if we borrow from them we have to pay interest back. Well makes sence to me. Thank you for making me think first thing in the morning Cynthia.
