Mr. Fee’s Bath – Kate – Sweet as Sugar

Is there any significance
To a house numbered sixty-nine?
Been wondering since
I was nine.

Oft walked passed this lovely house,
Saw beautiful women walk in
Thinking to myself,
Must be a teahouse.

All grown-up now,
Think I’ll walk in (for a cup of tea)
With my bible by my side.

As look around –
This hymn comes to mind:
            “Rock” of Ages
And words like these aren’t far behind:
            Rise above it all
            Everlasting 
            Strength
            Power 

Now I know,
The outside of the house
Was really just for show.

But, I think I’ll stay a while
And keep Fee safe from the swarm
Of unconscionable women
And their temptress storms

While enjoying Fee’s red wine
And strawberries ^d r i _{p p} i n _g
In chocolate.
