My Wonder Whether Tree

Her fluttering leaves that hold my secrets and answers my wonders, will soon be gone.

My tree is just outside my back porch,
in my neighbors yard.  When I am standing
gazing to the stars and sky lines, my mind
wanders to whethers and wonders about others.

My tree even on a still evening, seems to have
the answers I need.  Her leaves sway to the left
to say no and to right to for yes.  She has been
very wise to my worries, and is always there for me.

I look to her in the mornings to see what
she has to say about the weather.
Her predictions on the rain or shine.
are better then the news.

Her leaves are finally turning to the golden hue
that ques the foliage to ready for fall.
Her leaves are telling  the tenants on  branches
they should find new shelter for the winter.

I suspect she is sending the same message for me.
Her limbs will soon be barren and new growth
that doesn't  have a chance will break way till spring,
When they can reach to the sun for stature and strength.

My wonder weather tree, even  though barren
still has answers for my wonders.
She stands brave and tall, while the nests give way to fall.
to make room for next years homes built warm and strong.

It will be a season  for growth for us both,
to once again be warmed  in the sun to get big and tall.

I like the personification of your weather tree. It has personality as woman communes with nature in search of answers. Lovely! Best, Elizabeth

Absolutely beautiful! A reminder of the beautiful seasons, with the answers in a tree.
