I bought my wood today
for that stove that is built
so cozy into a tent with walls.

My little cabin is lost
in a forest of billowing trees.
They canvas as a rainforest
and reach high into the sky.
They tower and offer security
as only a redwood could.

These beautiful giants
stand so strong,
never breaking for
the winds or storms
that may come.

Into the stars they climb
A soothing whisper gently speaks
as I wander through their lair..
Forever offering
a peaceful tranquility.
