Too funny...not to share.
While resting in my Redwood Retreat on the last evening...
After a day in the den of the glorious gentle giants, I was looking forward to a fire in the stove to fend off the night chill.
With Lantern over head, a good book and Bach softly playing while the sweet sounds of nature were at rest.
I was toasting my toes and completely
at one with my soothing tranquility.
I heard a crackling I thought from the fire,
then a shadow quickly passing in
the corner of my eye.
I shone the flashlight by my side
onto the floor and followed the shadow
to a gap in the walls to find
the cutest little mouse looking to me
At one time that would have freaked me out,but fortunately
I've changed!;-)Sounds like you're content and enjoying your
respite! A fire, good book, and Bach,Can't beat that!
