huntress

she touches the scar
he made on her chest
when he ripped her open
exposing her heart

she mounts the horse
in her travel garmets
a bow on her back
she's loaded for bear

savoring thoughts
she has heard the legends
the sweetest meat
and thickness of fur

headed to mountains
much further north
tracks are sighted
and she smells tree rubs

honeybee droning her ear
unafraid of the fate
showing mischievious grin
she shapeshifts... into bear
