Pull into the driveway I glance at the lawn
Thick and lush.. it needs to be mowed
Drag out the mower and pull the cord
Nothing happens...I pull several more times
Check the gas and the throttle all is in order
I pull on the cord a dozen more times
Again and again it just won't start
Exhausting myself beginning to sweat
I lay down on the lawn to catch my breath

Gaze at the sky fall into dreamscape
I see your face
Smiling so kind you reach for my hand
Pulled to my feet a hug and a kiss
We are shifted to eagles and soar above
Over tree tops
wing tip upon wing
Higher and higher gliding the thermals
Freefall down in spiral dive
We mate in the air and spash into the lake

Shifting to fish we dart through the reeds
You flush out the minnows for us to eat
Upon the bank we shift into cats
Your teeth on my neck
Your claws on my back
Mating intensely with animal urge
Growling and purring
With spring time call
Shift back to human I lay in your all

Beeeeep! Hmmmm....i purr

Oh lord I'm in traffic daydreaming again
Someone is beeping to stay in my lane
Get back on focus drive myself home
Pull into the drive and
notice the lawn
thick and lush.. it needs to be mowed
