Feathers of an Ostrich Wing

the view master
gave our thoughts wings
to fly with iridial rainbows
where we painted hues
and prisms upon the fields
of our imaginations...

growing lemon drops
and hanging neon limes upon
outstretching dream branches
we kissed with chocolate perfumes
in lavender roses & fire flies
as the thorns turned into pearls
we dressed with intimate passion
the color of lilacs lavender clues
where red petals adorned our bed
we laid in love with promises
and pools of clear water revealing
our destiny unlocking imagery
through key holes and special charms...

we dangled our feet over the moon
painting our jeweled toes with raspberries
and reaching for the blueberry sapphires
in the sky filled with pink cotton candy
as we listened to the angels singing glory
throwing imaginary pillows of downy glee
the feathers of an ostrich wing floated
our thoughts to surrender carousels
upon the scripting clouds of new ideas
and the endlessness of our mindscapes
as we each watched kaleidoscopes turning
forming beauteousness from our souls
embracing the vitreous orbs of our hearts
we explode into unions cosmic creation...
