Knowing the heart of God is essential to bearing much fruit
Since God is a discerner of our thoughts and the intents of our hearts We ought to pray about what we say and do each day we start But, we say, as though a valid excuse - "God knows my heart." And so do you think He's just looking at certain parts? This day I'll believe and maybe obey... tomorrow THEN carry on with no Godly sorrow You offended me and I won't deny Today is the day I told a lie What yoke of bondage has you burdened down When peace is yours and GOD MOST HIGH can turn things around Take His yoke that's easy a nd His burden is light Be strong in the Lord and the power of His might Study, meditate and obey His word If necessary repent so your prayers may be heard Now, if you were to consider the honest to GOD truth Is your life producing Holy Spirit fruit? OR... In the heart you hold a grudge - so stubborn you just won't budge Forgiveness, what is that? I'll repay what you did to me tit for tat So caught up in precious self - material things, success and wealth There's no real thought of your soul and spiritual health ... no trembling and fear So busy scheming that you just can't hear Yes, God knows our hearts, the real question: "Do we know Him?" Are we abiding in His word or praying an empty Amen God wants us to have an abundant life - nothing less He's given us everything that pertains to life and godliness We don't have to be confused, disheartened or dismayed For he loads us with benefits each and every day Grace and mercy, longsuffering , joy and peace Seeking first His righteousness our blessings are increased A record is being kept and it will be reviewed God knows everything about me and you! What kind of heart will God ultimately find? On that judgment day , will He say "Enter child of mine?" It Is Written : Ascribe And Abide Ministries Minister Judith A. Mays��

I THINK IT TREMENDOUSLY IMPORTANT TO KNOW WHAT WE ARE CALLED TO DO, IN AS FAR AS OUR WORK IN HIS VINEYARD IS CONCERNED. IT SEEMS TO ME THAT SOME DO IT ALL; THEY PLANT, THEY WATER, THEY TEND, THEY REAP. I DON'T DO IT ALL...I WATER. THAT'S ALL I DO. PEOPLE THAT I RUN INTO USUALLY ALREADY KNOW THE WORD, IT HAS ALREADY BEEN PLANTED IN THEM. I COME ALONG AND SIMPLY WATER THAT WORD, CAJOLING THEM TO REMEMBER WHAT HAS BEEN PLANTED AND TO GROW AS THEY PASS ALONG THE WAY. I AM QUITE CONTENT TO DO THIS. GOD, WHO NEVER MAKES MISTAKES, CHOSE TO USE ME IN JUST THIS WAY. I AM KEPT, I AM SUSTAINED THROUGH THE 'IMPOSSIBLE' SIMPLY BECAUSE HE DEEMS IT SO AND YES, OF COURSE, I AM YOKED. IT IS NECESSARY TO SURRENDER TO GOD COMPLETELY IN ORDER FOR HIM TO DO HIS WORK, THROUGH US. BUT IN ALL OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS WE ARE AS FILTHY RAGS AND WE CANNOT CHANGE...ANYONE. THE HOLY SPIRIT IF THE POWER THAT DOES THE CHANGE AND WE SIMPLY POINT EACH PERSON TO HIM WHO CAN CHANGE...EVERYONE. WE GIVE ALL THE CREDIT TO GOD...FOR IT IS HIM, NOT US THAT ORCHESTRATES THE CHANGE IN EVERY HEART. WE PRESS OUR WAY AND WE TRY TO DO OUR BEST, SOMETIMES COMPLETELY MISSING THE MARK BUT ALWAYS, ALWAYS 'REACHING' TO DO HIS PERFECT WILL. YOKED! AMEN! THANKS FOR SHARING.
