Oh Leftovers!

Old leftovers never die.
They live again in pot pie.
They return in soups and stews.
They taste so great in fondues.

We transform veggies with cream.
We freshen our buns with steam.
We slice. We dice. We bake 'em.
Whatever it takes to wake 'em.

We will not throw away food.
That would be so very crude.
We don't care if it is old.
We don't care if it has mold.

Mother told us never waste
Not even one single taste.
In China, kids are starving.
The bad spots just need carving!

Roast beef is always better the second time around. I wish this silly whatever; could figure out if I'm a visitor, or an author, or a reader. Don't get me too lying? Anyway good, great, and wonderful imagination you have Jo.
