“Wake me up before you leave?”

(Drowsy)
“OK, OK, mm hmmmm…
************************************************************************

Whoa…my head is spinning, turning around, no direction, such confusion.

Damn, it’s cold!
************************************************************************

In space with zero gravity.

I’m being chastised by balls of sand for disturbing their castle

They said that I kicked their door but I don’t remember.

My presence disturbs them so they retaliate by hurling themselves at
my face. Losing my balance I fall on a bright beam of light moving
horizontally toward the point of a star.

Sitting on the edge of uncertainty, holding on to waves of heat, I wonder
if I should jump into the unknown, or ride for light years to the stars peak.

One lone dazzling grain of sand falls from my face. It tells me of paradise,
a place so beautiful, and if I wanted, it would take me there.

We travel for years it seems – falling very fast. My surroundings
are airy until we come upon a clearing. There is a light shining even
brighter and warmer than the light beam I was on.

The grain of sand tells me that this is where we part. I thank it for guiding
me here. My descent starts to slow until I am floating, and swaying from
side to side.

From above I can see splendor. It looks like diamonds stretched out like
thin thread sparkling in the warmth. Shades of turquoise are moving gently
and adhering to it like delicate fabric.

This place is like no other.

As I approach, I recognize the shimmering speck of sand. It stands out among
all the rest. It smiles and mouths “Welcome home”

Wake me up before you leave.

Mmmmm…beautiful paradise indeed - confusion no more.
