Chestnuts blew up in a hot oven instead of roasting

Gingerbread men on a plate with no arms, half a body
and no heads.

One last big gift to wrap and not enough paper

The animated Christmas boy keeps leaning against
the window and writing on it with the bulb at the
top of his candle

The girl’s hair is frizzing because of condensation.

Every year I have to tell everyone “NO you can’t eat
the candy canes, their 10 years old and for show”

Lights in the middle of the tree decide to go out

I want to run away, but it’s too cold outside.

I seek refuge at my computer and thank God for my
friends here at Author’s Den.

I calm down and relax to read some laughs, romance
and touching stories and poems.

Oooh, the men are ready.

I think I’ll open the oven and let them run out the door.
I’ll be damned if I’m gonna chase them!


You all have been such good friends to me, and I want
To wish everyone a season of peace and contentment

And a new year filled with love and health.
