Poem Artwork

She looked at him with that look in her eyes
the one that held alot of mystery and, yes, suprise.
She called to him in that siren voice that she had...
the one that let him know she thought he was sexy cad.

He knew, he thought as he flexed his muscles, how cute he was.
She didn’t have to keep telling him...just because.
He might get embarrassed if she kept bragging to her friends....
how much of a funny and wonderful thing he was - but that just depends.

He wasn’t conceited, no....just as the saying goes...just convinced.
He was particular about his looks and liked his veggies minced.
He liked a nice long stroll in the midnight air.
He liked to act as if he just didn’t care.

Yet she knew as he knew that he was in love with her.
Being near her was enough for sure.
So here she was calling to him.....yet again.
Sometime...well...sometimes....a cat just can’t win.
