Poem Artwork

i walk this desert at night, the wind calls me
i walk to find peace in the solitary tranquilaty
of a barran waste, free from hope, and fear and joy

i walk this desert and seek that which i lost
i walk for my name is called, endlessly called

i walk to seek the beast that hides my heart

i have found the beast, folowing its lonely calls

i found it sitting upon a rock, eating its heart,

i asked " why do you eat your heart"
to which he replied " for it is mine and
it is bitter, bitter"

the beast rose to gaze upon my face,

and behold the beast was me.

slightly prophetic and meandering; this is so very isolating....and lonely. ..the heART is a lonely hunter type of atmospheric search. ..

I believe there's a beast in us all-- a tameable beast. The good part is that seeing the beast within yourself makes you more empathetic to the beasts that are in others. They are ours to tame, befriend, and move us... --Charlie

I'm glad i've found your work. I really enjoyed this. Your use of allegory is excellent and evokes a feeling of haunted introspection.

I must admit though, (and please don't be offended - no offense is intended), I'd enjoy it even more if you removed the spelling errors.

I look forward to reading more of you.
