It is so very hard to be friends with someone you once loved deeply.
The love lost keeps getting in the way of the friendship. In fact many become bitter enemies cause they hurt so deepful from the lost love and can't recover. Bill

it really cuts doesn't it, no matter which way the blade turned. I think this is an aspect of life that we just gloss over Lori, and I am so thrilled that you have laid it out, brought it light. Such a crude question really, but so glad exectations sometimes don't work out, ty Lor, al

What is that old saying...All's fair in love and war...neither of which can be played fairly...but we still need to stroke the ego and not break the heart.
