Your velvet beauty Calls out to my desires One slight touch brings death Rain drops magnify The speck of dust grows larger Rain drops judge like men Sun flowers reach out Proud heads are lifted upward All shall be humbled Blood red rose invites My senses are ignited I will risk the thorn

Beautiful, meaningful stanzas, Lori: loved the line especially: "Rain drops judge like men". Many of us seem to be tracking with The Rose at the moment! Funny how she never ceases to inspire. Loved this. KB
