Silver moon silhouettes dance across the sky
reflecting yesterday upon the waves.
Shadows of the past. Lost horizon days,
once resting, resurrect in pristine pain.
Some yesterdays, like the tide, never fade.
Stories of the heart. Illusionary dreams.
Endeared imaginations, crystal clear.
The one we thought we knew so well,
was nothing more than our creation.
A figment of a promise once sincere.
Lori,
Bravo, you nailed this emotion with a sharp, cunning and brillant pen. The flow, the set up, perfect. You have the talent to drudge up so much in me, gives me a chance to think about things. To challenge my Budda-nature, and let them flow away in peace.(Mostly, lol)
Thank you once again for your offering~Namaste' Shell

It seems our hearts are always in a perpetual state of searching....and dreams always seem just beyond our grasp....beautiful imagery...as always great write....Thanx for sharing....Peace Abel
This is as crystal and poignant as the still morning seas it puts me in mind of: ever-changing and yet tranquil again with each morning's calm - no matter how stormy the previous night. Looked at another way though, I also am one that inhabits dreams that ultimately may be the creation of hyperactive thoughts, but, even if they should die and fade, often the experience of them brings life, colour and flavour with which to enjoy life while you have them!! They can even be developmental and help us move onwards and upwards, perhaps: like children have "imaginary friends" when they are little, which helps them to sort through who they themselves are and how they relate to the world. I never saw the need for one when I was six, but now at 46 I realise that I missed out on a lot!! Lovely, Lori. Kate xx
