my question is was this really love or merely the end of an affair where you found you were going or the guy was going somewhere that didn�t hold any promise for you, its easy to be cynical, but we dont know from what you say, we only have your version of the case that you felt let down, but we dont realy know what lets you down, i mean if your on the swings & hes on the roundabouts & you dont see eye to eye, i mean if your going to say its love thats broken in this context, it seems to me it requires more proof than just a description of how wretched you feel. robin

This is so bittersweet.
"You no longer hold my heart
or the key to my tomorrows.
Our lives, once one, are now separated
by the eternal gulf of let down love,
never to be joined again...

That single tear, now stranded
stains my cheek, betraying me...
The final residue of yesterday�s dream"

Extremely powerful piece, Lori. No all love is fantasy, though; true love does exist, but is usually difficult to find; and defintely worth holding on to when one does find it.
