This is one of those first drafts that has surrendered to writers block...

A morning snow whitens the evergreens
with brushstrokes of life
for the coming season

Bowing to the earth
branches sense the heaviness of responsibility

As morning fades
a touch of sun melts the burdens
forming puddles on the ground

Beauty is born

This one tells of the life cycle, in search of the reborn. This poem can be read in more than one way.

To me, this is wonderfully symbolic of life and I think you have done a wonderful job of putting the meaning across. Thank you, Lori. Love and peace to you. Regis

Lori, this is the best imagery to describe beauty. But in some ways it reminds me of how my mind is cold sometimes, unable to give any word to write until it bolts with the touch of the literary sun. Excellent poetry.

I know where urcoming from, my latest is out of my first ever writters block, but i think it is due to the stress of court on 25th, for my son. So one writes well within themselves.

But this is snow joke, hope not to see snow for the 20th yr..Except if i go to yanky doodle land..These flash floods are enough..

Beauty is born of this poem as well as the subject matter, but where do you live that the snow has already started...I am just getting used to the heat of summer, lets not talk of snow, shall we...LOL?
Peaceful thoughts to you,Ed & rufuz
