I wade through the stillness of a summer path,
each step seeded with the innocence of life.
An innocence not fully mine, yet shared.

I move in reverence
among the elders and those who deserve to be.

The survivors who reach the sky,
and their seed, dying to be born,
asleep beneath the blanket of untouched soil.

Possibilities surround me…

In awe, I continue.
My presence is all that disrupts
the silence of this place.

Nature welcomes my exploration,
with a display of life never touched by art.

With hope, she waits once more, seeking an ally
willing to share, not conquer.

An ally willing to lose the “I”
and believe that life deserves a place.

Awaiting an answer,
she prepares…
