Stop dating those anchormen Girl! They'll stand you up for the next whale sighting, the next annual crab bake, and the next big sleep on Wall Street. And stick with melons; low cal and easily disposable. Most men are not (LOL) except the for better or worse variety.

Lori,

I love each one seperately, for different reasons. The first made me chuckle *grins*, the second made me wish I were there, watching whales with you, the third brought a sense of nostalgia (not that I've ever crabbed, but o, those lonely tales tell stories!), the fourth is GORGEOUSLY imaged, and the fifth--LOL I have to watch the morning news, even if it's wrong to do so. BRAVA, Ku Master! Excellent!

Again, Lori, your Haiku are perfection. The first one made me laugh and the last made me say Hmmm, so true. The three in the middle teased my thoughts. These are wonderful and made my morning coffee five times better.

As USUSAL these Hiaku's of yours are so wonderfully mellow that my mind is already drifting off to white sand beaches, marqueritas and girls in white string bikinis oops to early maybe for that but wonderfull imagaes none the less.

An interesting combination, Lori; deep thoughts breaking through the hazy surface of our superficial lives. Still waters sure do run deep and there is so much more to life than that which meets the eye. Taking the time to stop, observe and take notice makes all the difference.
