Elk Neck, Maryland & it's state park are in close proximity to the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay & the Susquehanna River. A beautiful spot, even on a rainy day. This poem appears in my poetry book "The Journey Through My Life"
ELK NECK MARYLAND IN THE RAIN A place so picturesque On a real nice day Is still so picturesque On a real rainy day I found it beautiful When thec drizzle and fog Drifting through in a slight breeze Amongst the tall trees nice to see Elk Neck plainly On a nice rainy day
