AURORA IN THE NIGHT SKY

                                      It was a cold winter night

                                      In the middle of January

                               Reports of the shimmering lights

                                     We had heard on the radio

                                     We looked out the window

                                           Toward the direction

                                      Of the north nighttime sky

                                  The colorful shimmering lights

                                        Of the legendary aurora

                                          Of the northern lights

                                 Set off by the magnetic storms

                                        Of sunspots on our sun
