He Finds My Sore Spots!
He always finds my sore spots even if they are out of sight.
Like the time I had shoulder surgery and went to sleep that night.
He thought he caught a fish, landing it was just in sight.
I woke to a tremendous shaking and he was in a fight.
He shook the dickens out of me trying to catch that trout.
I kept trying to awaken him by screaming and shouting out.
But nothing slowed him down or stopped him, until his task was done.
He must have finally caught that fish, for he sure was having fun.
Whether I have a sore on my toe or a big knot on my head,
He always finds that sore spot, when we get into bed.
So I have a right to be petrified when I go to sleep at night.
‘Cause it always seems to me, that my sore spots are in his sights.
