True Faith
Oh Lord, I’m completely down to my last piece of bread.
I remember my Lord your promise and what had you said.
“You will not go hungry, that I am promising you.”
So I’m claiming that dear Lord, it’s what I must to do.
I think of the loaves and fishes that Jesus fed to the multitude.
How he multiplied them into many, so he would have enough food.
For true faith is the actual believing in the things you can not see.
My faith is strong and I believe you can do those things for me.
So I’m going to believe in you my Lord as I have always done.
I am believing that you will provide for me as did your beloved son.
So I will not eat this bread in front of me, no matter how hungry I am.
I will simply trust, sit back and wait for that delicious piece of ham.
AMEN!
