Okay, I admit, I've finally lost my mind.

Poem Artwork

Who Said the Flu is All Bad

The chills reminded me of the chills up my spine on our first kiss.
The fever felt like the intense heat of our first love making bliss.
This headache felt like the pounding in my head on our first embrace.
The redness of my cheeks reminds me of the blush on your loveable face.

The upset tummy reminds me of the butterflies you always put there.
From the very first time I saw you showing your kindness & loving care.

So who said the flu is all bad, for it certainly wasn’t for me.
'Cause it reminded me of you and how things used to be.
