I’m going to tell you something ,
you probably won’t believe me,
but it’s the truth .

One Christmas Eve night this strange looking sleigh with reindeers
had landed up on the roof .

How it got there I don’t know.
Where it came from no one knew .
It was a mystery .

Like the candy cane sticks that started to grow in the garden
round the fairy tree .

I don’t know how they ever grew .
Some people said I had planted them there .
But no ,

Then there were
fairy lights in my trees and on the fence .
Where they came from I don’t know .


Then just by chance,
I saw the strangest of things .
Let me tell you what was going on .
.
First I thought my mind was gone !
But no ,
there they where .
All the garden gnomes in the lawn .

They came alive and started hanging up some decorations all over the place .

Then the sleigh with the reindeers took off into the sky
and further out into space .

I went outside and the garden gnomes ran away .
What could I say ?
What could I do ?

I stood there speechless and stunned ,
thinking no one will ever believe me .
