Drinking Whiskey With A Pixie

I was drinking dixie whiskey
in the moon shine with a pixie
and most of it went straight down all the time .

We drank till we were nearly blind
and I said now if you don’t mind
I’ll have three wishes .
if you’d be so kind .

Now every pixie knows the rules
and wishes are not made by fools
so I wished for Pixie whiskey that night.

For as soon as the bottle’s drained
it refills right back up again.
See that’s why Pixie whiskey is just right .

We drank and had a real good time ,
singing my darling clementine .
Then it was time to my second wish .

I smiled and then I said to her
I want to wish for something rare
the knowledge of the Salamander fish .

My wish was granted on the spot
and suddenly I knew a lot ,
the secrets of life had all been revealed .

After we had another swig
We danced the Pixie Mountain jig
and as we did my aches and pains were healed .

It was time now for me to take
the third wish that I had to make
so I laughed and wished for three wishes more .

She sent me off into a dream
and I woke up beside a stream
with my head throbbing from the night before .
