I’m just so ordinary Not planning to conquer The world or another person Not out to have the love affair Of this century To bring about world peace Or cure cancer Just so ordinary I could be happy With a love that wouldn’t stray Bills that I can afford to pay A job I liked each day So ordinary Give me a friend I can count on Health for my daughters and son A good time in bed just for fun And I’m happy as I can be Because I’m ordinary
