I started doing these dialog pieces, I can't really call them poems, I'm not sure what they are but I enjoy writing them so here is another...if you don't like this sort of thing, I certainly understand. I won't apologize for the profanity because I believe it goes with the dialogue, but be aware that it is there....

Hey Mikey, long morning huh
Pull up a chair and sit here with me
I got something I wanta ask ya
About Mabel, my wife
Awww Jeeze Mac, you ain’t gonna tell
Me embarrassing shit are ya? I don’t wanta
Hear any of that women’s illness stuff now
Mikey you gotta lotta nerve talking embarrassing
I spent my whole lunch hour yest’day listening
To you moan about your f***in hemorrhoids, fer chrissake
I just wanta ask yer advice that’s all
Oh, sorry fella, yeah you can do that, I mean
Who else you gonna ask this stuff but yer best friend
Am I right….course I am, tell Mikey what’s up
After all ain’t I been schtupping Mabel for years now
F*** you jerkoff, Mabel wouldn’t touch you with
A ten foot pole, things is, lately she don’t wanta
Touch me with anything…know what I mean
Awww Jeeze Mac
No listen up now, this is serious, I mean me and
The old lady always had good sex , you know
In the bathroom when the kids were home
In the car a few times, that Mabel she liked
Weird places, weird times…and me…I liked Mabel
Lately though, I gotta tell you, she don’t like it anywhere
Not any time….so I been thinking
Maybe I ain’t romantic enough for her
I’m thinking maybe we need to get away for a weekend
Dinner, dancing, flowers, make her feel young again
What you think, Mikey?
Mac, Mac, you don’t understand the dames do ya
After all these years, you still think they want romance
Naw man, they want to know their place, they need
The stability, you hear me, they need a mop and a broom
Or they get all flighty, trust me, I know the women
They need a firm hand and you just ain’t firm enough
With Mabel. Tell her to get her ass up to the bedroom
And dispense with the laundry…she’ll love it
I don’t know Mikey, I gotta think about this a little
But hell, that’s my problem, how’s Sandy these days
She still at her mothers up in Parma
Yah, she’s dying to come home but her mom keeps
Begging her to stay a little longer, the old bitch
Wouldn’t even let me talk to her the other day
Says she is out and she didn’t know when she would be back
I’m telling ya, bud, I ‘m tempted to drive up there
And drag her ass back home…the dishes
They been dirty for weeks, laundry up to my ass
That girl will be home this weekend, I promise you
Okay Mikey, if you say so….thanks for the advice
But I think I might try something a little different
For me and Mabel….you know, just to see….
Awww hell its your damned marriage Mac
Do what you want, I gotta get up and walk
My hemorrhoids are killin’ me

Yeah it sounds like he needs to be giving advice to somebody else! I happened to have enjoyed this 'little ditty' as though you called it. Great entertainment. Actually it kinda reminded me of ol Archie Bunker a bit.
Thanks Sue!

Lisa
