How lovely, Sue! I find emotions make for the best poetry, human-wise. It is the basis for poetry, 'we imitate' humanity with our art of words, they are the reality of our Now, of our Past, of our Future. Perhaps even of our perception of Heaven. We observe, process, feel and imitate all our lives. I was once told my poetry was not me. It was my art. I felt upset, couldn't see how it couldn't be me, that's almost all I write about, the inside workings and wonderings of me, and in that respect, of everyone. I think I see, now, he meant poetry is a medium to be used as a Poet's tool, not as an absolute... If that made any sense, sometimes I think I've got what I'm thinking pinned down, then it slips my grasp. :)

I am such a bozo - is there a daily listing of all poems posted, or do you mean you have looked up every author today that is here on the site?! And exactly how many of us ARE there?! Sounds a mammoth if not highly enjoyable feat, Sue, and this gem is a tribute to all those poems seen and unseen. You have brought a refined feeling through in your concise words here, doing justice to the crucible you have witnessed. Very clever word play - I enjoyed this immensely! This is a clincher!
