My cousin was much better than I had feared. Thank you all for your well wishes and prayers...they were much appreciated.

I was standing by the window the other night
Watching the great ball of the moon
Floating in the nighttime sky
Thinking of its beauty and wishing
That I had someone here to share it with
Suddenly a dark cloud floated acrss the sky
Casting its shadow across the orb
I had so intently admired
Hiding it from my view
I felt cheated and impatient for its return
Angry that something had taken
This beauty from the sky
And suddenly I realized that when
The moon disappeared
My eyes adjusted to the dark
And I could see the world
Clearly and without the glow of the moon
Getting in the way
Which view was better?
I really wish I knew
And I still wish I had someone to share it with
Both the dark and the moon

Oh, this one resonates so very nicely, indeed! Both views have their charms, Sue, though I am partial to a big, bright full moon! ;-)
The sharing will surely come when you least expect it...
