I took a walk today
Needed to get out of myself
At least for a few minutes
It was a little chilly
I really wished I had grabbed a sweater
But I kept walking
At least it was moving
And moving was a positive thing
Wasn’t it
Anyway, while I was walking
I was also thinking
Something I do too much of at times
But what else can you do when you walk
So I thought
About things I should do
And things I knew I wouldn’t
About the future
And the not so distant past
I thought about love
And hate
And all those emotions in between
And when I could avoid it no longer
I thought about you
Soul-reaching in scope, Sue. Thank you for sharing this offering. Love and peace to you. Regis
