I've had such a great day, if it were any better i'd be rhyming...

I feel pink
I know I’m usually blue or gray
With muted shades of green
Mixed with a little bit of red at times
Or black as the dark of night
I’ve even been known to be lavender
Or maybe purple is closer to true
And burgundy is not unknown
When I’m in a richer mood
But yellow is a color you’ll never view
In me, or shades of mauve
I’m just not the pastel kind, you know
No matter what my emotion may be
But today is not just any day
Its my birthday don’t you know
And even though I swear I don’t care
I’ve got a pinkish glow
