It doesn’t matter if it rhymes As long as the words Run like honey off the tongue As long as the words Create pictures in the mind And stir longings in the heart Doesn’t matter if it rhymes As long as the picture it creates Can be seen without the eyes And the song it sings Can be heard without the ears When words put together Makes one reach for the stars It won’t matter if it rhymes If it makes the mind soar

This is one of your best pieces Sue and i think in your case it really doesn't ;matter, your work picks up its own rythem from the message not the rhyme. Well done.

To rhyme or not to rhyme, that is always a question for me. I love both. Good verse moves me whether it has rhythm and rhyme, or not.
