Well, I do agree to some of what you say but those who say I love you for the sake of cybersex, end up heart broken. But there are some who never get any love in real life, who long for that divine soul connection at least in the net. Such people will be satisfied with just talking pleasantly for a while on the net every day, sharing their pain and pleasure.

There are many who are all alone in real life who never find any love or any one caring enough to even share their pleasures. Such people do find some solace in a net love, where they know they will never meet, never even shake hands, but caring all the same and loving with all their hearts, expecting nothing in real.

Married people who do not want to be unfaithful to their spouses in real life often think, a net love affair or even cybersex is safe with a total stranger whom they feel can not hurt them or their marriage.

A man or woman starving for love will do anyhting Sue, for a carign heart and of course often get hurt or heart broken as well. So you see, there is some truth in what you say and soem solace in net love affairs too. My humble opinion.

But there are indeed those who abide by this rule (out of loneliness, out of boredom, or some... when there's the verve but simply not the nerve for anything else)... also off-line. :0)

I also read your blog. One has to wonder if poets and writers are more in tune to this thing you speak about merely because the imagination of writers is more colorful.

The are many ways of loving...and if I say "I love you" does not

mean "I want you" every time you say it. In my book anyways... so it

all depends on how you see it or from who you take it!!

There are times I tell a friend "I love You" and that is

a pure love from the heart...not from below the belt trying to jump

into bed....and for me it is possible to love a person just by

learning to know him or her better online and knowing they care

back....not in a sexual way but as good friends shoukd...with

respect!! Even if you make a silly joke or two...the mutual

respect remains sacred!!

Just my humble opinion....and just me Tinky speaking from her

silly caring heart!!

No wonder I get burned more often than laid.......lol!!

Sue there is truth in what you say and I don't disagree with a lot of it. However there is another side of the coin as well, the loney who sit at home day after day confined either by physical, mental or social causes who are finally being able to interact with others. We all hear the horror stories that involve Cyber love affairs but unfortunatly the success stories are never shared because they leave the world of cyber space to step into reality of love. Anyway I feel that this topic is not discussed nearly enough and you are a brave lass for breaching the taboo of discussing it. Well done.

Some people do like to cruise along the net breaking hearts like it's some kind of hobby.
