I could smoke
No one saying I can’t
Or have a drink
Not even a law against that
But I won’t
Not because I’m a law abiding citizen
Or against alcohol in some way
No it’s just me
I could never do anything halfway
Always have to go overboard
Too much of a good thing
Oh yes, you can have just that
And I did
And won’t again
Unless that good thing is you
Then bring it on
I’m ready

A kind of guised passion very much your own. The strenght and impact of the statement becomes clear after reflection, not being apparent at first sight, which makes it particularly powerful.

"I can resist anything but temptation...!!" Neatly said and oh, so true!! It's funny how we abide by our own rules... everyone else's are just no fun!! Guess it's really up to us what we choose to be our poison or our placebo. Our own bodies tell us what is good for us, right enough! WTG... a little of what you fancy does you good...!! Tomorrow is the time for regret, right?! :)) LOL Kate xx
