I walked into the room
And immediately had a plan
Run don't walk to the nearest exit
Get out while you can
There were drugs on the table
Syringes on the sink
A room full of trouble
And no time to think
I didn’t say a word
Make any feeble excuses
This was a time for action
Not for evasive ruses
I was out that door in a minute
Even though it had started to rain
But wet is better than sorry
I haven’t forgotten the pain
Politeness is for normal times
Not for moments like these
You find yourself in a dangerous place
Don’t worry about who you displease
Hit the door a running
And don’t go back again
There’s nothing there but trouble
Don’t ever forget the pain
This is just a reminder to myself and any other ex-drug user who wants to stay clean...this is no time to be cool, you're never safe from yourself.

This deserves a second rate, also wanted to say that the new bio pic is great. Very good write/message.
OUTSTANDING!!!!! "This" should be one of those circulating e-mails..that hopefully make it's way also to our children!!
And I like Janet..wish I had run sooner also!!
Hopefully, I have taught my children one of the most important points of your message..
There are times, that "polite" need not apply!
Wish I had known that too!!

Good for you. I have ran like hell myself. I wish that I'd ran sooner. Some viruses like Hep-C take 20-30 yrs before you even know it. Excellent advice. < < <SMOOCH>>>
