I love this!! So searingly honest - and don't we all just feel the same way?! Self-image is the most persuasive of all mindsets, and, sadly, too many of us have been life-long crippled, perhaps, with a poor and low self-esteem. That's number one - even putting aside the AD process (Anno Domini... not the stresses and strains of living in community here; you know I'm jokin!!). I think we underestimate others' ability and desire to actually SEE what lies underneath anyway...perhaps we are not as shallow as we take ourselves to be after all. And when personality and character as resonant and shining as yours just dazzles through to the surface, then no one can be left in any doubt as to the diamond that is above and beneath!
