I need midi files
I have jpg and gif and pretty near every damned file you could name
But I haven’t got a midi
I have an mpg or two
But that isn’t quite the same thing
Is it
I need a midi
And I intend to find one
Somewhere on this damned pc
There is a midi file waiting for me
And I’m going to search
Until I find it
And learn to attach it
So that my poems sound pretty
While I bitch, moan and groan
About God only knows what
You can hear Acker Bilk
Play Stranger on the Shore
And it will not be in vain
If I can only find
A midi
Or two
Somewhere
On this pc
Jerry does make a good point. I do like to use graphics with my poems but, as Jerry says, it can be distracting. I like the way you did this, Sue. Your verses pack enough of a punch without anything else needed. Delightful write. Thank you for sharing this offering. Love and peace. Regis
This is a fun way to ask for 'puter help and it has obviously been effective. Eileen's directions are fine but one caveat is called for. Clean out midi files frequently. They take up space worse than pix do.
Cute write sue but even without a midi (which at first I thought was a new length for womens skirt fashion) your work stands well alone. I am with Lisa I gave up on anything but the writing.

It always amazes me why anyone would want to distract their words they have toiled over with same darn elevator music in the background. Poems should stand on their own without all the tomfoolery.

Sue yu must be kidding just put free midi in google and you'll get a list of all you want. Also you can write in the song you want and google takes you right to it. You don't have to pay. here's one url

when you find a song you like click mouse right and on pop-up select save link, and it will download for you. make sure you save it to your desk top or midi folder, so it don't get lost on you. That's it.
