About answers
That makes me feel so empty
I only know that for every one
I find
I want another
For every explanation I’m given
I find another query
And my thirst becomes intense
I need more answers
It’s not a question of want
We want things of fancy
Things to please the palate
And the imagination
This is a need
A deep hungering need
For fact not fiction
For reality that feeds the soul
And gives reason
To an unreasonable life
For every answer
I have another question
For every truth
I search for logic
Heart wrenching poem, Sue. Very well written. I've found, after 60 years, that questioning can drive me crazy, but the pain in my life causes me to grow and not question.
I seem to have the same problem, Sue - one of life's complex mysteries, I think.

The continued search for . . . answers, or revelation or why am I who I am, can lead to the loony bin. Careful, Sue, sometimes too much knowledge can to . . . er . . . too much knowledge.
This sounds like the search for answers to life we all want Sue.
Truth is hard to come by and must be sought on a daily basis with total dedication. That means a lot of books to read and compare before one clicks that tells you "this is the way, and the reason"
