What a great word
I’ve never come thru anything
In my entire life totally
Unscathed
Love scraped me raw
With emotions expressed and withheld
Life has cut to the bone
Unscathed
The future with its thorns
The past full of slivers of glass
Sharpened by the mistakes of a lifetime
Unscathed
Not for me I fear
Life has cut me to ribbons
But I bleed unashamed
Cause I've done my best
And my pride remains
Unscathed
I so agree with Tiana ... WAY TO GO, SIS. I guess that I can truthfully say that with all that has been done to me, I have resisted being institutionalized and my soul has come through the ring of fire unscathed. Thnx for sharing sis, this is really great. May the Lord Jesus Bless you, and those whom you love, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. Sue, I'm with you on this one my dear. I doubt there are many "Unscathed". It is what has made me strong and made me grow into who I am today. Wiser and hopefully strong enough to make all my tomorrows count. Well done Sue!
All in all, when you look back on the total of life, I have a feeling you are unscathed, because you are Sue Hess and nobody else,, don't you understand how special that is? You may have been wounded, you may have suffered deep scars, but you are, and have been, healing.
