I can’t help wondering what would have happened
If I had gone the other direction that day
Stopped for a latte
An hour earlier
Crossed the street a block too soon
Or looked up a moment too late
Would we have missed
What was the defining moment in our lifes
If I hadn’t stumbled
Would I still have fallen
I always wonder about what ifs; what if, that is what we are supposed to do?!
