I keep sorting thru my life
Looking for that one moment
That will explain what it was all about
That one object that would make all things clear
That one dream
That meant more than all the others
I look at photos
Wonderful faces
The past on small pieces of paper
One in front of the other
Remember him
She was gone so soon
They laughed a lot
We were so young
And knew so much
To have come to so much ruin
All that potential
All this waste
And still I search
Knowing that somewhere in this jumbled past
I’ll eventually find the yesterday
That explained all the tomorrows to come

And still I search

I'd say you and I are on a similar path..frustrating ain't it?
All I seem to find are my my yesterdays with no tomorrows in sight. This is a very powerful, emotional and heartfelt poem sis. Thanx for sharing.
